About my part-time job

Today, I will write about my part-time job.

I work at "Suganoya". This is horse meat restaurant. Kumamoto is famous for horse meat, there are many horse meat restaurant in Kumamoto. Suganoya is one of them too. Many visitors to Kumamoto come to there to eat horse meat. But, I don't know why horse meat are famous in Kumamoto.

I have worked since this year's April. There are many things that I have to memorize in my part-time job. For example, I have to learn about region of horse first. There are many kinds of region's Sashimi in there. So, I have to explain to guests. For example, there are "Futaego", "Koune", "Nekko" and so on. First is "Futaego". This is part of outside of stomach. And next is "Koune". This is part of mane. This part of meat's color is white. "Nekko" is part of vein of trunk. It is very crunchy. We have to explain to guests evry time.

There are meny kinds of food not only Sashimi but also steak, Sushi, Shabushabu, Sukiyaki, Yakiniku and so on. All this menu is horse meat. I also didn't know that there are such a many foods of horse meat before I work in Suganoya.

But there are foods that I haven't eaten yet. So, I try to want to eat all menu in there.

Why don't you ask your another staff in Suganoya about the reason that why Basashi is so famous in Kumamoto?
I want to know the reason.
