There are many universities and faculties in Japan, so we can study what we want to know and interesting things. For example, foreign language, nursing, teaching, and so on.
I study English in Kumamoto Gakuen University, because I want to be a flight attendant in the future. The job of flight attendant needs English very much because they have to communicate with many country’s people. I thought that I will major in English in university. Now, there are many English classes in university. For example, it is reading, speaking, writing, listening, and so on. These four skills are very important for study English. In these, I am especially poor at listening and speaking skills, so I recently watch foreign movies and speak with overseas students in English as often as possible. Someday, I want to be able to communicate with many country’s people and realize my dream to become a flight attendant.
My friend studies nursing in university because she want to be a nurse and do a volunteer in foreign country in the future. She studies not only nursing but also biology, chemistry, mathematic and so on. She looks so hard very much because there are many things that they have to memorize.
Also, there are university students who study other things. For example, some people study economics. They study about finance and bookkeeping and do on. Most of these students aim to be a bank clerk and officer in the future. Other, some people study music. Most of these students aim to be a famous musician. For this, they study music very hard in university every day.
Like this, there are many faculties, so we can choose a faculty that we want to study and interesting thing. And we can aim to realize our dream, so we are lucky!!
